Unlike most wearers, I dont wear high heels for style or power, I wear them to shape my feet into a point. The heel helps the feet to pack right down into the pointed toe box (on sufficiently pointy shoes). I've found toes have a tendancy to mould to the shape around them and each other, so if they are squashed into the end of a pointy shoe for 23 and a half hours of the day, 365 days a year (I only take them off to have a shower, and to give them a shower too) the feet become the shape of the shoe, right upto a cm from the tip of the point. I've always had quite wide toes, and found it hard to find sexy shoes that would fit, so i decided (after a bit of experimenting) that I would mould my feet for 18 months. 16 months in and it's going well. When i spread my toes, they look like fries though!
